I moved to Florida 24 years ago from upstate New York. I settled in the Venice area almost 17 years ago. My husband took a job here and 2 weeks after he started I told him, “I hope you like your job because I’m not leaving Venice!”
When I am not selling Real Estate I spend my time with my husband and my dogs. We take long walks along the beach. I also enjoy kayaking, biking and fishing. In the off day where we have a bit of rain, I enjoy reading and baking. When given the chance, I take some time off and travel. I enjoy exploring this beautiful country in my RV but always look forward to coming home to Venice Florida!

In 1986 Cindy said “I’ve had enough of the cold” so her husband Mark and two children moved from freezing, snowy South Bend Indiana to sunny Venice Florida! No one has ever regretted that decision, Mark is now the Broker/Owner of Hackworth Realty. Their son lives and works in the area, their daughter and son-in-law moved back to Venice after marriage and have since blessed them with four granddaughters. In her free time Cindy enjoys boating, golfing, scuba diving and duplicate bridge.
Cindy has been working at Hackworth Realty since earning her license in 2001. Her knowledge of the area is a great help when looking to either buy or sell.
